Laura Mercier Holiday Sets for 2013 are on the counters now along with the new Holiday Collection called White Magic Collection. But my favorite Laura Mercier pieces for the holiday are the gift set collections. As a fan of Laura Mercier products, you can always be assured of the quality of the skincare, brushes and makeup. I thought I’d share with you some of my favorites this season.
This Travel Brush Collection includes 9 go-to brushes that are great for travel, office desk etc. The set includes a full sized cheek brush and 4 dual ended brushes in a classic clutch with a fabric pouch and zippered bag inside. Valued at $266 for $125.
The Luxe Color Wardrobe Eye & Cheek Set is a great value set that includes 8 eye shadows on one flip out palette along with a trio of eye shadow brushes for application. On the other mirrored side palette there is two blush shades, a bronzer/shimmer powder, a trio of tight liner shades and a pencil liner and a tight liner brush. All this is encased in a brown textured travel case. If you want a one-only, go-to palette, this one offers a lot of color options. It’s valued at $350. and sells for $125.
Last year I purchased this Color-to Go set in the Nudes shades and keep it in my office desk and use it often. It’s time to replenish. The shades this year slightly different, but that’s OK. It’s again in the Nudes and Smoky Violets shades. In the double-decker case you get 4 eye shadows ranging in light to dark liner, a bronzer and a blush and a mini Lip Glace. When I posted last year’s palette on Pinterest, it became a hit on there as well. This is valued at $90 and sells for $50.
There are two Lip Glace sets available this season and personally I prefer this Bare Nudes 5 piece mini set over the Bold Brights set, but that’s just me. I have a few of these nude shades from when they came out in the summer and are a constant in my bag. This 5 piece mini set could even be broken up and given as individual gifts/stocking stuffers and I will tell you I be they will be used constantly. An $80 value for $48
The Petite Baked Eye Colour Bonbons are fun little trios of baked eye shadows that can be used either dry or wet. There are three separate palettes – Bronze, Amethyst (both shown above) and Emerald. The Bronze and Amethyst are my favorites and the emerald is just too difficult of a color for me to wear. In the Amethyst palette, personally I would wear the lightest shade sparingly. The darkest shade I would wear wet as a liner, then the darkest shade on the lid along the lash line and the middle shade above that.
There are more pieces in the Laura Mercier Holiday Sets that may be worth checking out, but these are my favorites.

The “Nudes” palette/set could easily become my go-to set in my bag. But I’m still trying to decide between Laura’s or Bobbi’s? Laura’s has more, but I’m such a Bobbi girl! Decisions, decisions…
